Our Story​
Hi! I’m Stefi, an Italian who grew up in a small town learning to cook with my grandmother. From rolling fresh pasta to creating classic Italian sauces, my childhood was filled with the flavors of real Italian home cooking.
Years later, working as an au pair in North America, I discovered something amazing: families truly love authentic Italian food—but what they often get abroad isn’t real. That inspired me to share the true taste of Italy, straight from my kitchen to theirs.
The Journey
La Vera was born from this passion. Using real Italian ingredients imported directly from Italy, I make fresh pasta, ravioli, lasagna, and classic sauces—everything by hand, with love and care. My mission is simple: bring honest, homemade Italian food to families and food lovers in Niagara Falls and beyond, at a fair price, without the fancy restaurant markup.
Every dish is crafted with the same care I learned from my grandmother. From quick weeknight dinners to special family meals, I want people to experience the warmth and comfort of eating like at home… in Italy.
